HF Leaf Board Prospect Rankings to Begin After Draft!

Greetings,

I will be doing the prospect rankings again like I did last year after the draft. I will be holding a poll every day and we will rank our top 30 prospects in the system as a group. We will find out how the posters on HF boards rank the prospects in our system.

The players will for sure include:
Nazem Kadri
Joe Colborne
Greg McKegg
Spencer Abbot
Tony Cameranesi
Andrew Crescenzi
Sam Carrick
Matt Frattin
Carter Ashton
Tyler Biggs
Kenny Ryan
Tyler Brenner
Greg Scott
Richard Greenop
Brad Ross
Josh Leivo
Marcel Mueller
Nicholas Deschamps
Jerry D'Amigo
Jamie Devane
David Broll
Jesse Blacker
Stuart Percy
Juraj Mikus
Petter Granberg
Max Everson
Korbinian Holzer
Andrew MacWilliam
Tom Nilsson
Dennis Robertson
Simon Gysbers
Eric Knodel
Jussi Rynnas
Garret Sparks
Mark Owuya
Ben Scrivens
Leo Komarov
As well as the prospects picked this upcoming draft
(this means there could be close to 50 prospects to choose from, making for some competitive polls)

Here is an Example of what the poll will look like from last year

Two Important Questions:

Should Jake Gardiner be included?

& Am I missing any prospects who are Leafs prospects at the moment? Are any of the prospects I named above not Leaf property anymore that I mistakingly put on the list?

I hope to see all of you voting in the rankings beginning a day or 2 after the draft.

2011 Final Result
2010 Final Result

*List of prospects is subject to change.

Greenop and Rollheiser have to go ... don't know why we let Olden and Nicholls go when we have these 2 scrubs in our system

oh, and Olden, Nicholls and Brodin are not our property anymore

If I recall, these guys are officially done with our organization:

Josh Nicholls
Daniel Brodin
Sondre Olden
Grant Rollheiser

Also, likely that these guys won't be back:

Juraj Mikus (going to Europe)
Richard Greenop

I was pretty sure about Olden and Nicholls, but wasn't positive.

just a suggestion we mid-aswell not even do the #1 because that easily will be who we select this year assuming were picking in the top 10.

also I dont think Gardiner or Frattin for that matter are prospects they spent the majority of the season on the leafs and are sophmores next season and that to me is not a prospect just my opinion tho

Cool.

Personally I would include Gardiner in it since he was just playing for the Marlies, even if he doesn't play another game with them.

According to the HFBoards criteria, Frattin would technically still be considered a prospect. He's 24 with 57 NHL games played, so he's still a prospect until he plays 8 more games or turns 25.

Gardiner played 75 games, so he'd no longer be considered a prospect.

And while I'd agree that our 1st this year will almost certainly take the #1 spot by a landslide, it would still be interesting to see how many others think differently.

Frattin as a prospect : yes
Gardiner as a prospect: no

Unless your poll was our top 30 under 25.
