I can't see Parenteau signing with the Penguins. They to me seem like a team more likely looking for players to give the team a "I am playing with Crosby so I have a good shot at the cup and boosting my stats" Discount . I am guessing PAP will go to highest bidder

For once, I actually think 'we' have a good chance at landing a big UFA. A) The contenders doesn't really have a need. B) Don't think he would be intersted in teams like Columbus who does have a need. C) I hope Koivu, Selanne and Lydman can lurk him over. Keeping Hagman would have been good in this aspect, think they are good friends. But Hagman isn't staying. I can easily see Jokinen staying in Calgary, or other decent teams like Phoenix and Florida being interested in a top six center. Given that he has played in both Phoenix and Florida before, that could work in their advantage, or to their disadvantage.
Don't know why people are saying Smyth to MN, he's like the last player on this list I would want on the team.

Doug Armsyrong has stated that he will use Free Agency to his advantage come this offseason. I think we could see a Suter/Garrison signing in St Louis.

Sorry, I'm still not exactly finished. Already swapped places between Hedberg and Ellis. I want to compare my lists with the real thing later in the summer, so I'm still adding some more names (so names already listed could potentially move around over the next few hours). I still think Prust stays a Ranger, but Moen is a difficult one...
Edit: I should also say that I will change my list after the draft. It's a little hard to speculate where players will end up at this point, some teams will fill needs by making some trades next friday.
