Naturally poile does the exact opposite of what I was thinking he would do. Whose other 2nd are we getting or is it this years and next?

Ladies and gentleman, we are back in round 2...twice.

I'm going to hate to see Lindback go, but I hope he succeeds over there. Glad it's to a team I like at least. Those two seconds will either be solid prospects or good trading chips

Man, I'm pumped. I have no idea who Caron is, but even if he's a scrub, 2 2nds and a 3rd is awesome. Sign a backup in free agency or just let Smith/Hellberg take it. Great deal for both sides

Thank you mr poile

Hopefully @fakelindback is doing alright...

That wasn't a bad deal in getting 2 2nd's and a 3rd plus Caron's rights for Lindback and Kyle Wilson. Kyle on a one way deal this year and he wasn't going to play for the preds this year so trading him made sense. I wonder if we sign Caron or not as I'm not sure how good of a backup goalie he is. Getting back those draft picks was big and could land us some good prospects.

Would have liked to see a 1st rounder come back, but knowing how well the organization drafts with it's 2nd/3rd rounders, this looks pretty good.

We got two top 60 picks for a player who would have only played in about 15 games for us. Love this deal. Does anybody know who'll be around by the time we pick?

Caron's a UFA on July 1st. I assume this was just to balance out contracts for Tampa.

much better return for lindback than i expected, given his down year this past season.

Has anyone clarified that both seconds are this year?

Tampa actually had 3 2nd rounders. I was told on the main board that we got the Wild's #37 and the Flyers # 50 second round picks.

the 2 second round picks are #37 and #50 overall..

would have liked to get back in the first round even if we had to add. but #37 is knocking on the door.

but considering rinne is locked up and a horse, we essentially gave up nothing in this trade. even though the team played bad, lindback only won I think 2 games this past season.

2 second round picks, third round pick, caron for lindback, k. wilson (almost no value), and a 7th.

we won this trade, easily

I'm a little sad because Lindback was a personal favorite, but he was never gonna be a big factor in Nashville because of Rinne, and two 2nd's is a nice return. Very good trade

31 year old, very bad goalie. As someone already said, he was thrown in just to move a contract. He is a UFA July 1st and has already signed in the DEL I think.

Really good return for Lindback and I am personally very happy for him. He will get a chance to be a starter in Tampa.

The return is actually really good, though I am a bit surprised we didn't try to get a roster player. I will take the picks, however, as I suspect they maybe used to try and get a 1st this year.

I wish we could've negotiated something for Connolly, but 2 2nds and a 3rd isn't bad.

Jeremy Smith or some random vet that ends up being available in July.

Maybe a cheap trade with the Flyers for Bob the Backup?

He was 5-8 this season and was on the losing end of a couple 2-1 games. I'm happy he as a chance to be a starter. Also funny thing is we got a pick #50 that is one spot higher than we sent to Montreal
