I think our only bet to catch live action this eve is CJAD Radio. http://www.cjad.com/

Listeners can catch the Alouettes first pre-season game Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. as Montreal hosts the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Live coverage begins at 7:00 p.m. with the pre-game show, followed by the kick-off at 7:30 p.m. Coverage continues throughout the season on-air and 24/7 on CJAD's Alouettes page - www.cjad.com/sports/alouettes.

As if! The Als were founded in 1946! As part of Montreal as Mount-Royal & Steamed Hot-Dogs!!!

Dude I'm 22, in Cegep and sports is still my life and always will be!

I played soccer for 13 years, football for 4. I just took up hockey this summer in a garage league with some friends (not a great skater but improving lol) and have been playing flag football for 4 years now. I watch plenty of football (CFL/NFL/NCAA), hockey and soccer. And I almost only play sports video games

No need to change your lifestyle

The Alouettes are using a 4-2 front since the beginning of the game.

Blondon is fine. Got knocked out, precautionary measures taken by the training squad to take him out of the game.

I'm basing my thoughts solely on the stats.

Our whole running game was solid last night. All 3 running backs had over 6 yards per carry, with Devine having a 6.4 average, Wolfe 9.0 and Anderson 9.75. The combined for 107 yards on only 13 carries.

At the QB position, Neiswander and Riddle had OK stats, but McPherson 1 for 7, 5 yards and a pick? If anyone saw the game/highlights, was he that bad? It would be hard to assess the work of the WR's. It seems like they were OK, but if QB's weren't great obviously it's hard for them to leave their mark.

I heard Murrell could be a great pass rusher opposite John Bowman. Can't wait to see who's going to get the job.

As for the return game, looks like Washington was the best. He had the best average for kick returns (32 yards) and had a solid night returning punt (13.5 yards). They were all solid in returning punts, but some had low averages in the kick return department.

So excited for the season. I hope next game is televised!

From what I heard, the O Line sucked. So hard to pass the ball when a DL is on your ass

I hated him. For real

Apparantly Boulay got released too

Probably means Kyries Hebert will be the starter at Safety

Or because they have a All Canadian O-Line and can afford to have a NFL Calibre Safety (Most Safety's in the CFL are Canadian)

Interesting, and not unexpected. The Als were deep at LB. Cox is one of the best, Emry is also AND he's Canadian, Rod Davis is in along with Brouillette, Bear Woods, and even a guy like Restelli can come in at times (though likely more of a special teams guy). Ferri was the odd man out.

Boulay was a surprise for me, though, but they must have confidence in this Hebert fellow.

Can't wait to see Kyries Hebert play safety for the Als.. NFL Record holder for most tackles on special teams and was a Bengals Captain..

Only awkward part? 6 foot 3 -- 220 Pound Safety. I smell some big hits on deep balls.

He looks more like a Linebacker. What a Beast. From the Clips on RDS, guy can Run (I suppose if he tackled so much for Cinci on Special Teams, he probably was a Gunner)
