Where is Simpson???

When did Simpson last play? I thought we brought him to keep an eye on the funny stuff, like knees on knees. Souray should not be risking re-injuring his wrist from crap like that! The has shown he is committed to the team, I think he would have mopped up after that incident.

Why is he not getting the chance???

One enforcer (Downey) on the lineup is enough for me.

Downey? I thought he was a goalscorer.

He would have been on the bench when that play happend. He's fine where he is...the team is winning.

I'm worried about McGrattan tommorow though. I'd hate for him to fight Souray for McGrattan's sake.

On a serious note, I hope Sheldon doesn't drop them against McGrattan, Sheldon is playing like our number 1 or 2 right now, we don't need to lose him for five minutes against such a good team like Ottawa, while Ottawa's meathead who only plays like 5 minutes a game is in the box. Not a good trade-off for Montreal.

Must of been one hell of a slapshot by Bulis to score from the pressbox last night...

Oh, you did know Bulis scored, right?

Um, that's why he was keeping Bulis' seat warm... cause Bulis was on the ice.

Meaning: Simpson was in the press box, keeping Bulis' seat warm (since Bulis has been sitting in the press box).

That sentence doesn't imply Bulis was in the press box currently, just that he has been there...

It's okay, you're from the Maritimes, we all know you Maritimers speak a different language.

I'm surprised everyone is out to dis Simpson? What the hell, I mean he's a stand-up guy, captain material in Calgary, has played pretty solid since arriving. Adds toughness on defense, plus some good size. He's jazzed about being part of the Habs. I dunno, seems like he adds more than what some other guys bring to the table.

I'm sure Gainey will go to Souray and tell him NOT to fight during the Ottawa game, no matter what happens.
Can't afford to lose Souray to another hand/wrist injury just days before playoffs start.

They might decide to dress up Simpson in case those Ottawa tough guys decide to get chippy...

I would hope we roll with Murray, Downey and Simpson for the Ottawa game.. hell, lets call up Ivanans too! Lots of nasty players on the Sens... remember the Leafs game!! Well, I want more of that.

Simpson vs. McGratton
Downey vs. Neil
Murray vs. Varada
Souray vs. Phillips
Begin vs. Heatley
Rivet vs. Redden
Aebisher vs. Emery

AND

Ivanans vs. Chara THE REMATCH!!! Nah, he'd fake an injury so he wouldn't have to face the WRATH of the Latvian Locomotive! Just watch... he'll pretend to be on Ottawa's IR come thursday!

I believe Redden and Phillips are both currently out of the line-up.
