I may be drunk, but a PS3 is totally worth the investment.
Most likely, but it's just not in the cards right now. Trying to be careful with the dough. Season tickets....and one big bill coming up next fall with textbooks for school. Although if I really wanted to get it, probably could. But I have no problems with Wii with the exception of that game.

Honestly I've heard absolutely nothing about NHL Slapshot but at $17 how can you go wrong? If you're still in school, I highly recommend Student Prime. I pay annually for prime and it's definitely worth my $80. You should try it out if you qualify.
You have no idea how many times I have to go back before Firefox doesn't have any red squiggly lines before posting. I may be drunk, but I'm still fairly disciplined. I'd be far more disappointed in myself tomorrow if I posted something spelled wrong or grammatically incorrect than I would be if I posted something ridiculous about some strange behavior or belief. I'm still very proud about my posts despite the ridiculous amount of alcohol I've consumed.

BTW, that post took at least 3 minutes for me to type.
Anyway, yeah, I reckon PS3 is totally worth it. You can get the old model used for relatively low price and it just adds so much when you can play NHL 12 and stuff. And now with that new PS+ deal, it's even better.
By the way, Dreamcast was the most underrated console ever. I used to have one, and it was ****ing awesome.

Dreamcast is one of the few consoles I don't own (PS3, 360, PS2, PS1, NES, Atari, Sega, N64).
A 320GB PS3 (which I highly recommend over my own 120gb system) plus NHL 12 is only $305. If you want a bundle deal like MW3 with it it's only $330. It's well worth it if you don't have a Blu-Ray player. Blu-ray is amazing. I can't even describe how much better a movie like Book of Eli is in Blu-Ray over normal DVD.
If you can't afford that expense, you're either a student or someone who needs a new job xp.

Dreamcast....Crazy Taxi.....priceless. Almost makes me wanna drag it out, but too dang lazy. Console is in brilliant shape in the original box though. I'm crazy paranoid about keeping the gaming systems in tip top shape.

Oh man, Crazy Taxi. And Soul Calibur, the original. It was just so much better than any of the Tekkens or Street Fighters of the time. Revolutionized the whole genre.
My favorite DC game must've been Metropolis Street Racing though. It looked absolutely beatiful, it had dynamic lightning and the races usually started on random times. I remember how great that San Francisco (IIRC) track looked at 5.30am.
Never played guitar hero though. In fact, I think I was the only one over on the official boards that never touched the game.
You should try Frets on Fire. It's great unless you're on a laptop like me.
Basically, a free, open-source version of Guitar Hero with fan-made songs including all the greatest rock classics, metal legends and all original GH songs as well.

It was absolutely epic.
#$@! Might have to drag that puppy out tomorrow later today and burn the to-do list.
A couple of my favorites were The Simpsons: Road Rage and The Simpsons: Hit and Run, both on Gamecube.
I'm fairly certain those were cross-platform, and that they were basically re-skins of Crazy Taxi anyway. You know, outside of FFX, I'm not sure if I had any PS2 games I'd consider essential.
