Rob Scuderi.....

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but, what were the extent of his injuries? I heard 30+ stitches and possibly a broken nose.

I knew when he signed from the Penguins the guy was a warrior, but I have to feel badly for him that he can't enjoy the celebration to its fullest, cuz it's really got to hurt to smile. He wasn't smiling much at Staples Thursday. He wasn't on the scoresheet much but I think he sacrificed so much more physically for this Cup and I just wanted to give him all my respect.

Scuderi isn't exactly the celebrating type.

I don't care what the scoresheet says, he had 3 assists in game 6.

Anyone else noticed that look on his face when Bob mentioned his stitches when he was introducing him?

I don't think we can expect him to smile considering how many stitches he had done on his lips, and the broken nose. The guy probably isn't breathing so comfortably right now, but I bet winning the Cup eases the pain. I think he's in LV with the rest of the boys.

Someone said that Scuderi and Gagne were the only ones that didn't go. He could be wrong though.

Gagne is in some of the LV pics. Kopitar doesn't appear to be there. Fraser tweeted that he's driving up north. Brown isn't in LV either. Maybe some of 'em make it later or have other plans, who knows, but I think the Cup and some members of the team will be present for the award show (least the ones who are nominated for trophies, which Brown and Quick are).

This link has a bunch of pics posted and seems to be regularly updated with new pics:
http://onegirlonepuck.blogspot.com/

Guys who are currently in LV (or at least pictured):
Clifford, Richards, Carter, Lewis, Doughty, Stoll, Nolan, Mitchell, Martinez, Richardson, Gagne, Scuderi, Quick, Greene, Westgarth, Bernier

So that leaves the following who haven't been seen in any of the LV pics:
Brown, Kopitar, Williams, Penner, King, Voynov, Drewiske

Yes I am. I was looking at the SCORE Sheet and I see 1 Goal 8 Assists Reular Season and 0 Goals 1 Assist in the playoffs.

I'm sorry that out of everything I said that is all you came away with.

Oh well....

Brown didn't go to LV either. When tweeting about the phone call from Obama he said he picked up his kids from school and took them to the movies.

I understand that and was not implying he is. I have loved Scuds since I saw him make the final seconds save in the Pitt SCF. No one was more thrilled he became a King than I was. I know the difference between a PMD and a Stay at home DMan, thanks. What I thought would be understood is the respect I have for the experience and intangibles he brings to this team. i apologize if that wasn't obvious.

Sometimes I think you guys are looking for things to argue about. He clearly didn't say that as a knock on Scuderi but as a way to show appreciation for everything else that he does. Everyone knows that Scuderi isn't a scorer and is therefor not gonna show up on the scoresheet.

He had a great playoffs, that's for sure. I think his regular season was his worst as a King but he was just tremendous in the post season.
