Rick Nash To Be Traded This Week?

Dispatch columnist Michael Arace: Rick Nash Week is upon us, and the #CBJ captain could be gone by week's end http://www.bluejacketsxtra.com/conte...-and-soon.html

Dispatch reporter Aaron Portzline reported that at least seven teams have had “significant” trade talks with the Jackets in the past 10 days. Those talks will intensify.
Nash Week is under way, and at the end of it, the captain will be gone.
Mods, feel free to make this the all purpose Rick Nash thread.

EJ Hradek reported that Howson feels trade talks have moved to a new level this past week so it feels like it really will get done

I had some good nights with Rick and he is obviously a ridiculously talented hockey player.. I will miss him.

The rest of that quote from Howson also mentioned that it wasn't just with Nash, but others, if I remember right. But, alas, it seems like this would be the best time to do it, as the value returning likely won't this high again until trade deadline next season.

Feel sorry for the team that trades too much to get him. He's good but not great. Get the feeling it's going to be a Crosby package that lands him.

Feel sorry for the team that loves him but has incompetent management that was never able to provide him with a chance to win, forcing him out of town.

Hearing that CLB GM Scott Howson still asking for 4/5 major pieces in return for Rick Nash -- who would still have to waive his NTC. - @StapeNewsday
