As a Ducks fan I'm not okay with it. I love Trouba, but Murray doesn't slip past Anaheim...if he even slips past NYI.

If Koekkoek is there when the B's pick, I think they snag him.

Pouliot would be solid, but I'd take Collberg over him for the Hawks.

Murray will be a Top3 pick. This will not be a Fowler situation.

Exactly, as much as I think Snow is a horses patoot on draft day I think Murray being there woud almost force the guys hand. Despite a lot of Islanders fans not liking Murray's upside the kid is easily the best defender in the class.

If the Islanders do indeed pass it will be for Rielly or Reinhart.

As much as I like Trouba I could not see the young man being one of the top three defenders to be selected.

Murray
Rielly
Reinhart
Lindholm all will go before Trouba IMO.

Like Reinhart but I'm sure we'll take Reilly if he's there. Hate Subban at 19, we can get a goalie in the 2nd and take BPA there.

No.

It will be S2K if he is there, but he won't last that long.

Stars seem inclined to pick Girgensons over Gaunce. Not a big fan of that pick you chose.

Just like Fowler and Gormley were certain to go anywhere from third to fifth but certainly no lower than that. No way in hell.

The reason given for the shocking fall of both defensemen? Average size, relatively soft play. What would you say about Murray?

And if he slips past Anaheim, Minnesota sure as hell isn't picking Teravainen over him.

I cant see Murray falling that far.
And if the Isles are the first team to take a defender they take Murray over Dumba HANDS DOWN.

I can absolutely see Murray falling that far. He's the steadiest d-man in this draft class right now, but there are many more whose ceilings, imo, are a fair bit higher than his.

I wish I could agree because I have wanted Murray since finding out how high we would be selecting. However, we all know Snow is creative and instead of going with the conventual pick the guy likes to take more flash and late riser types.

Dumba is not necessarily a late riser, but the kid has more flash and more highlight reel style to his game. Almost like a little kid who sees something shiny and is drawn to it, that is Snow.

I also would not rule out Reinhart.

That being said, i do not think Trouba goes above Rielly and I think Teravainen will go fifth overall to the Leafs if they don't have a chance at Grigs.
