Still think we should have traded him at the deadline... if only he didn't get hurt...

I think Moen is more useful then what we would of traded for him. Aside from Moen and Staubitz, there's no one else who can play the "heavyweight fighter" role.

I'd love to see him back.
If only Bergevin can add some guys to have a somewhat offensive 3rd line, he would be a perfect physical/shutdown 4th liner and Pker. And he can obviously play on the 3rd line if there are injuries (and there will be, sadly).

If they are gonna sign him, they need to fill the gaps in the 2nd and 3rd line so that you can limit him to a 4th line job with PK time.

During the two first years of his contract, he was invisible most of the time. He was only good during the last year
I wouldn't sign him for more than a year or two.

3 years at 2m per would be fair IMO.
Big part of the PK, important late in games, doesn't take stupid penalties, can step in as top 9 role if needed.

Disagree, he does a lot of the small things right, chip the puck out, always dumping it deep, great hockey IQ for a 4th liner.

He is exactly the type of player we need more of.

More term for less money.
To me, he's a great team guy, tough, can score, great on the pk and a leader. I'd look at something like 4 years 1 millish. Gives him security. Though, either way he'd be in the nhl.

I agree wit hBobBarker here, also there's nothing that prevents you from sending contracts offers to multiple of your players at the same time.

There's no way you are going to keep him at 1M$ lol. About 90% of the NHL teams would fights each otehrs to sign him at 3M$/season.

I think Bergevin started talking to both Price and Subban before any words on Moen's negociation started. And like BobBarker said, he's a UFA the other twos are RFA.
Moen is a very good asset, he skates well, he's tough, can play PK and cares about the team. Having a guy who can fight heavy weight, play awesome PK and be useful on a third line is hard to come by. At the TDL every fans from other teams were inquiring about him before any other players on our team, that says a lot.

None, it was a made up %.
Pretty sure most teams would sign him for that amount, the teams who wouldn't, it's because they are stacked enough up front (Kings, Flyers, Bruins are quick examples of those teams).

Sure, I just see it this way: There's going to be negotiations with PK & Price after all and they haven't accepted whatever offer was sent. Then a question comes: Is it going to be a long summer for these 2?

I dont agree with 3M, but I can see a team offering 2.5M in July.
