C'mon this is friggin DW. When's the last time he signed a fellow defenseman to cheap terms (and no, White doesn't count!)? I still remember Huskins for $1.7M and Wallin for $2.5M. When those numbers came out everybody was ok because we thought it was total contract value not the average value over two years. Doh!
I expect no less than $3.5M and would not be surprised if its a tad over $4M.

I for one would be shocked. I don't really think Stuart has done much to be entitled to a raise
On the way to meet with #sjsharks ownership and GM Doug Wilson. Expecting some solid word on Stuart, coaching staff, and upcoming changes
DW was confronted with some hard hitting Kevin Kurz insider action and his usually superb subterfuge was no match. He had to use some crazy purple knockout gas and flee the scene.
Re presser: AIUI, first part is with ownership. And the questioners will need to be listening hard/taking notes. 2nd part with DW (when any signing of Stuart would be announced).
3 mil or less = yay! DW finally got a discount! i mean, you don't just offer up NMCs for free rt? also stuart REALLY wanted to play here so good to see him taking a discount! good job DW!
3-3.5 = meh, why does DW always give out NMCs without getting anything in return? does DW know the definition of "leverage"?
3.5-4 = wow this approaches zeus level of bad contract...
4+ = ah good ol DW, overpaying bottom pairing dmen like the world depends on it. just another terrible bottom pair contract in a long line of bottom pair signings - huskins, wallin, white, and now stuart!
