If Collberg makes it to the Sharks, they will not pass on him. He's exactly what we need.

I'm not sure how Maata is the fastest riser in the draft....IIRC, he was in the top 15 before the WJC.

Id be surprised id Hertl didn't go in the 1st round. Good sized centre who has played against the men and had a very good WJC.

The Sens need a defenseman. If there's a good forward who falls to us, we'll take him, but Sissons at 15 is a huge reach. Doubt it.

Not saying that isn't the case. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the red and white, either -- just not at pick 15. It's way too high to be grabbing him.

Ducks looking to get bigger and more physical not smaller and faster, that's why they aren't re-signing Jason Blake and Nik Hagman. Teravainen doesn't fit that model, Ducks go with Dumba.

Not bad but I like Skjei over Finn at 20.

You won't. Skjei is painfully overrated.

I'd be happy to see Buffalo come out of the 1st round with that haul..They might take Ceci over Reinhart of both are available at 12. Just it seems like he's more on the Sabres' radar because they actually brought him to Buffalo to interview him.

Yeah, I'll take Collberg at #18. I'll take him and run away, far away, laughing. Good job.

Collberg would be perfect. If the Sharks would take him, I would gladly take Koekkoek

I admit Galchenyuk or Forsberg are what the Islanders truly need. Despite guys like Nino, Strome, Nelson and Kabanov the Islanders need a legit high end offensive prospect. Strome is as close as the Islanders might get to that with their current crop of prospects. I feel like they whiffed on Nino and Nelson and Kabanov are still unknown.

The defensive side of things between Donovan, Mayfield, de Haan and Ness the Islanders have decent but not great prospects on the backend so in reality we lack a top end guy on both ends of the ice.

However, the Gormleys, Fowlers, Hamiltons of the world were passed on and I could see the Islanders taking someone like Reinhart a little higher than some would think or someone like Teravainen.

Dumba at 9? From a Jets perspective, that is really good, but I think he will go before 9th.

Other than that, pretty solid draft.

Lol, yes I know that. I just meant its logical, I could see at least the top 10 playing out very similarly.
