RA Dickey is tied for a ML record; 4 straight starts with 0ERs and 8+ Ks.

Hope he can break that tonight against the O's.

Edit: Update, Ike GrandSlam in bottom 6.

Dickey 6IP 1hit, 1bb, 7Ks....And a single.

if dickey doesn't start the all star game then that would just be plain sad. he's one inning away from pitching a one hitter in back to back starts. At this point he should be leading the race for the cy young award in the nl.

Dickey is just unhittable. He has to be the favorite for Cy Young.

He was this close to back to back no-hitters. Anybody who says Cain is the favorite for Cy Young is nuts. Dickey is the best pitcher in the NL right now.

God I forgot to put Dickey in my starting lineup for my fantasy team... stupid ESPN.com is supposed to alert you on your lineup page when a pitcher is starting that day but they didn't!

Not a slam dunk for either.

Their STATS are practically the same.

Dickey: 10 1 2.20 13 13 2 1 0 0 90.0 66 24 22 8 2 19 0 90 .208 0.94

Cain: 8 2 2.18 13 13 2 2 0 0 95.0 65 27 23 7 3 16 1 96 .192 0.85 0.69

well dickey has 11 wins now with an even 2 era, plus cain still has to pitch against the angels tonight which isnt an easy lineup so we'll see how he pitches

As a Yankees fan I have to say I think R.A. Dickey is my favorite player in all of baseball. Such an underdog story and just goes out and dominates. So much fun to watch.

We're in double digits!!

And yes RA Dickey is tremendous, and like I've said before, one of my favorite non-Yankees.

great outing by sabathia who gets the complete game. 10 game winning streak is the longest since 2005.

I'll trade the 5 World Series I've seen for that.

The yankees pitching has been surprisingly great. Did not see this coming even if Pineda had stayed healthy. But especially after he was lost for the season I did not see this rotation and lineup going on an absolute tear like this. I did think we'd be playoff bound regardless because there are too many vets on this team that know how to win and its showing greatly. They continue to dominate the NL east. NL East competitiveness has been highly regarded this year, and rightfully so. However, the yankees have come along and wiped them clean. Reality Check.

All of baseball seems to be pretty mediocre. No dominate teams.
