My bad it's lindback, Kelsey Wilson and a 7th for 2 2nd's a 3rd and Sebastian Caron. If true it looks to me like a big overpayment by Tampa. Prob could have got berneir out of la for that package, I guess yzerman sees something In lindback

That's pretty pricey. I would hate to see what Benier, Schnieder, and Harding get in the free agency and/or trade. Better yet, I wonder what Irving will land us in a trade?
So I thought Lindback had 1 more year at 875,000 and only thought they gace up 1 second rounder. Seeing that he is a rfa and gave up 2 2nds that is pretty big overpayment.
The Islanders are apparently very interested in the services of Olli Jokinen, Bobby Ryan is available once again and the Sens re-signed Erik Karlsson to a 7 year/45.5M extension.

Not unless Jokinen's demands are outrageous in some way.
Depends what their asking for in return; their entire secondary scoring is on the verge of retiring lol. It's not a bad idea to go for someone like Jordan Staal and have him be the 2nd center on that team for a long time.
Some interesting wins:
Karllson wins Norris
Malkin wins heart
And ken hitchcock wins jack Adams
ALSO it was announced that Claude giroux would be the cover boy on NHL 13. A bit disappointing personally I wanted John taveras

According to Bob McKenzie, if the Ducks are trading Ryan, it's to add two or three building blocks but not add to payroll. Aside from the fact that Staal's a UFA in after next season and could walk, he already makes 4M and a new deal would likely see him get 5-6M+.
I think Murray's looking for someone like Stepan, McDonaugh, Schenn or Couturier as the major piece's coming back. The problem is though, Getzlaf and Perry are also a year away from UFA status and if Ryan's traded and they walk, the Ducks would be screwed.
