Nailed it.

Not too upset at Rau getting a deal. Hopefully he isn't here too much longer, though.

I don't think he ever would be. He's been in the minors for three years and doesn't look any closer to getting to the NHL. Much better options available in free agency for cheap.

I meant more like 2-3 years ago, but I'm with you there. Does this free up a contract spot, or does he still count towards the 50? Not that it really matters, but good to know.

Oh yeah just re-read your post. Yeah he seemed like he might be a good grinder a few years ago, but he never developed.

Again, another reason not to draft grinders.

Also, remember Eero Elo? WTF was wrong with Risebrough?

I was kind of wishing we would've traded him like we did Wellman, but we wouldn't have gotten much anyway.

A little surprising but not disappointing.

Ya, saywut is going to be pissed!

First Gopher, now him. Lesson to all of you out there, I guess. If you're going to fall in love with a prospect, make sure they're a sexy beast like Jason Zucker.

I'm a little surprised. Thought he would have slotted in fairly well on someone's 4th line as a depth player they're not afraid to lose to waivers.

Good for him, though. Hopefully this gives him a chance to be a higher end player there.

Considering the only part of that article that wasn't butchered was Almond's quote, maybe he used Google Translate to prepare his statement?
