How does Shawinigan repay the player who scored the two biggest goals in possibly team history? They trade him to Val-d'Or.
I hope Zlobin reports, he is a player I've enjoyed watching in Shawinigan.
Shawinigan pretty much lost every single key player from that team as they went all in with a bunch of 19 year olds, they are entering a rebuilding mode now. I don't think loyalty matters in the CHL one bit.

The kid has talent and he had as many goals as Grigorenko this past season. At 5'11 he is not that small and he is strong on his skates.

Only thing I can think of is the fact that he is a 93' baby (an early one at that in February) . Most of the higher ranked players seem to be 94's or later 93's.

Yes, I agree that is an issue. However, its not like he has been passed on in 2 drafts. He is still only 19.
I think sometimes a player just doesn't get enough respect from one or two sources and then all the other sources jump on board with a similar ranking. So I guess have to take the rankings with a grain of salt.
I think Zlobin is going to surprise many when he makes the NHL. He won't become a star but I see him as a top 6.

I am on the same page as you Oliker . I took him around 69th overall in my keeper.
Ok that is really weird because that is who I was thinking about today when watching video of Zlobin.
I'm not sure if he is going to be as good of a playmaker as Samsonov, but he should be a better goal scorer. In terms of size and ability to hang on to the puck they are very similar!
