2012 NHL Awards 6/20/12 - 4PM Pacific Time (NBC Sports)
Kings fans actually have a reason to be excited about the awards this year.
Hopefully Quick and Brown will take home some hardware. It'd be a great way to top off an amazing season.

Lundqvist numbers are all wrong:
39-18-5
1.97 GAA
.930 S%
Not sure where that random 15 game record came from.

They will be waiting at the bottom of the stairs with a breathalyzer if Quick wins.

Someone's gonna have to hold Doan back if Brown wins. What's the over/under on a Kanye West / Taylor Swift-type scene?

anyone know as to who will be announcing each award?
If Matthew Perry is announcing the Vezina award, then I am ALMOST certain that it is a lock for Quicky.

If Lundqvist wins as expected it will not reflect an east coast bias. He has a great season and we should congratulate him.

same. This is 1 of those rare years where i feel the trophy should be shared. There really is nothing separating Quick and Lundqvist, its just flipping a coin to see who wins

Quick and the Kings won the only trophy that matters: The Stanley Cup.

Yeah. I would trade Hank's Vezina for that cup any day.

No matter what happens, we got the Cup! So, I won't be all bitter if Brown and Quick lose.

The ONLY 15 game stretch where they could get his numbers UNDER Quick's obviously
what a crock to put that up when Quick's #'s were the best in the NHL. No respect, no respect I tell ya.

Hank doesn't HAVE the Vezina YET, don't go counting your Vezina's before they're hatched, Quick may just pull it out of the bag.

Kings show up in a big way tonight, they're feeling cocky and want more hardware to go along with the Stanley Cup, Conn Smythe and Clarence Campbell...

I hope Quick wins. However, I have a feeling the tail end of the season might have hurt his chances. Remember the voting was finished at the end of the regular season. Either way, both Lundquist and Quick had great seasons and both are very deserving of it.
If you ask me Quick won the two trophies that matter more, the Conn Smythe and the Stanley Cup. I'm confused about the Messier Leadership award, didn't someone already win it? I thought that's why he was at Staples Center for Game 3 with Wayne Gretzky. I assume that would have been for Brownie.
