Names we don't hear that you think might be in play.
I'm not sure if he's the guy the Ducks want to have wearing the C for the next 10 years anyway. So I would not be surprised to see Murray to go Holmgren during the offseason.
I would be, because the circumstances are massively different compared to where Holmgren's team was last summer. They had a ton of depth. They could move Richards and Carter and still had Giroux and Briere as their top two centers. If the Ducks were to trade him, we'd have Koivu-Bonino/Holland as our 1-2 punch. It's really not a comparable situation. Our situation rather forbids to even entertain the thought.
Even beyond just depth-wise, we could just go ahead and trade Perry as well, because trading our best center for depth/talented young guys and his best friend won't go a long way to persuade him to extend in Anaheim. Getzlaf, being married to a local woman and having a kid, is actually the more "rooted" in Anaheim and would seem the safer bet to re-sign, so that would make trading him even more of a weird move. I'd be really shocked if anything happened with him over the next months.
i think it's a very real possibility that enstrom gets moved this offseason. also a bunch of random 2nd liners and 2nd pairing guys around the league could move for random reasons.
I wouldn't be too shocked if Kunitz was being shopped around.

If anything Pittsburgh needs more wingers like Kunitz.
Yeah, Kunitz was just extended. Why extend him, at the same $, if you feel he's expendable.

TK was the name I came in to post, but I think he'd have to be part of a bigger deal. He's bringing back an equal winger or D, 3rd line tweener or 5-6 D, on his own...exactly the things the Penguins don't need.

He might be on the list of least likely to be traded. Haven't his last 3 deals been 1 year extensions to stick in Colorado? If the Avs weren't interested in keeping him, wouldn't they have let him go by now?
