So many ******** leafs fan on the main board....

Acting like Max's injury was not a big deal and that Lupul could have died because of the blood infection....

These awards make it very evident that hockey players are meant to be ice warriors not podium speakers

Hats off to Max!!!

That's fine, but I'm more talking about the production of it. The jokes are beyond lame, the set up is pathetic, the presenters constantly mess up, as I said, the whole production is just garbage.
Players come on to accept their award, I'm not blaming them.

Looking at the Norris ballot makes me think there are at least 3 maybe more biased NYR fanboys who get a vote. Del Zotto 3 votes and 2 1st votes for Girardi. WTF.

Plekanec came in 15th in Selke voting? Not bad considering lesser production.

I'm amazed Backes wasn't closer to Bergeron, Backes was a beast this year.

The year Streit put up 60 points for us while playing forward most of the season he somehow ended up like 8th in Norris voting, its hard to take the voting seriously for these awards.

but thats true stop being a homer

both max and lupul deserved the award, but lupul went through alot of it 2 years ago where as max was last year

i dont understand how ppl can say lupul would not have deserved it. He went through hell and came back to have the best season of his career

and, Lupul is dead inside. I mean, he would have a little bit of his soul die just for wearing that rag of a jersey

Not quite a comeback when you don't finish the season

unwatchable, whoever comes up with this 'let's try and be funny' format for awards shows, should be beaten. The NHL makes a joke out of itself when they do this pathetic show.

nothing worse than the elevator bit with Buttman. Notice NO ONE was even smiling after that (except that shaky little hyena)

I'm baffled to as why Gauthier didn't get any votes for GM of the Year.

They treat the viewers like idiots, and the players. Never understood this approach to award shows. I turned it off after 5 minutes, have no interest in this production.

Where did I say it was not true? Im just reporting what I saw on the main board.

And again, where did I say that Lupul didnt deserve it?

I posted that comment because I found ridiculous that they could think Max injury was no big deal, not because I thought the reports on Lupul were not true and that he didnt deserve it....

So get off your high horse and stop accusing people because you are the king of misinterpretation.

“Eventually I had a replica trophy made for myself,” Savard says today, laughing at the memory, no recollection of how much he paid for it – if anything. “But back then, I didn’t want to spend the $1,500.”

It wasn’t the first time he’d made this choice. Winner of the 1969 Conn Smythe Trophy, voted most valuable to his team in the playoffs, Savard opted for the free plaque.

And he made a replica of that trophy, too, which is a likeness of former Leafs owner Conn Smythe’s Maple Leaf Gardens.

Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty will have no such problem with his Masterton, Wednesday night becoming the fifth Canadien to win the award in its history.

The 23-year-old Canadien will receive a magnificent no-charge replica of his 2012 Masterton that he accepted in Las Vegas, the freebie a custom that NHL senior executive Gary Meagher believes dates back to the mid-1980s.
