I'm sure you can easily find out by going to nhl.com or tsn.ca instead of waiting for someone to post the time on here.

June 18th

Charlie Sarault@sarault12
@Nail10_1993 working out hard, trying to play for columbus with u and nash

what's with Nash and Columbus tweets?

That is Nail's legit account. It is funny that his teammate chose Nash and Columbus though instead of Hall and Edmonton. Probably nothing, maybe his teammate is just a Nash fan. Orrrr he knows we're gonna pass on him. Take from it what you will.

I think it's because his teamate is a jackets prospect.

Probably doesn't mean anything at all, just messing around. I mean most people who follow hockey at all are aware that Nash is going to be traded so that doesn't even really make sense.

Regarding the Tweets from Yak and his linemate...I imagine it's all in fun. Nash probably won't be in CBJ colors come July 1st anyway, maybe even at the draft.

This is Sarault's last year of eligibility.

He has no connection with the Blue Jackets.

Scouting Report: "I see a solid two-way defenseman who makes a good first pass. He's a great skater who gets up the ice quickly to follow up on the offensive attack."

Projection: "He's probably a top-two or top-three guy."

Weaknesses: "He's only six feet and a bit. What will be the determining factor is if he can be that shutdown-type D-man you require in that sort of position."

NHL Comparable: "Some people say he's like Mark Howe."

okay if that account is legitimate we know he is 'meeting with NYI, Carolina and Toronto.. and he puts a bunch of smileys.

Soo let's over analyze this.. we are trading the pick..

we can be a crazy fan base.

Yep. IMO, you don't use your first overall pick on a "Projected Top two", you use it on a #1 D, period. It would be a waste if you did.

Honestly, I think our scouting staff likes him a lot and could potentially see him being a #1D.

Maybe I am crazy, but when I think of Ryan Murray I can't help but think he is a Ryan Suter clone. They are almost identical in size, they are both really solid shutdown d-men, are both really smart hockey players, and can both kick in with modest offense.

So....do people think that picking up a Ryan Suter 1st overall would be that bad?

as per Stauffer

According to Edmonton Oilers Head Amateur Scout Stu MacGregor the Oilers are down to 2 players for the #1 pick

When you are projected as a top two or three, I sure as hell hope you aren't the guy going first overall.

Based on what Stu has said so far it's. I assume Yak can take that top spot though.

Grigorenko
Murray/Galchenyuk
Forsberg

I think it's Yak and Grigorenko.

Between what Brownlee has from Stu and this piece from Gregor via Stu is why I think that way.

SM: I think centre is one of the more important positions in the game. If you look at the teams that are strong in the NHL they have strong centres and good depth at centre, so that is one thing you have to take a long look at it. If you don't have depth at centre, you will probably try and take the centre because a centre does so much for the team.

I think it's between Yak and Reinhart. Boy oh boy, if we pick Reinhart #1.........

I think they are a lot higher on Grigorenko than people think. 6'3 skilled center has to be very tempting.
