Great job on Calgary's picks. Kea and Bertaggia both look like they could be players.

Everything past the second round blows for Anaheim

Logan Nelson over Coda Gordon?
Kenton Helgensen (in the 4th round, really?) over Griffith, Blujus, and Pelech?
Tringdale over Lindell, Barber, and Zlobin?
Paquette over Troock, Kulak, and Bussierres?

God awful.

Hell, Pokka over Thrower is just baffling. OFD vs the exact kind of defenseman Anaheim has been looking for? Good work.

Like i said, it's not perfect...

If you have a better one, just make it

Just cause Pierre McGuire had Tampa taking Maatta at 10 doesn't mean they should. I'd rather Trouba if the top 9 went that way, maybe trade back a few spots for him or Maatta. I like Dansk and was hoping we'd get him at that spot but that was before we got Lindback so not sure we go that route. The 3rd and 4th round we got steals, don't know the 5th rounder.

This has always been my problem with this draft...

#25 St-Louis : Nicolas Kerdiles
#26 Vancouver : Stefan Matteau

Then you throw in:

#124 NY Islanders : Kevin Roy

I'm sorry but I just don't get Kerdiles or Matteau as first round talent let alone 100 spots above a player who vastly outperformed them against the same talent.

As far as i am concerned, the only thing that Matteau proved this year is that he's an out of control jerk borderline brat. He doesn't have the last name and there's agood chance he's not even an asterisk right now.

Kerdiles has a nice demeanor and a decent game about him but just about any of the ranked - and a few unranked for that matter - USHL forwards are better than any draft eligible forward coming out of NDTP.

if murray is gone when garth gets his turn, i think he will take reinhart over dumba. and if thrower is still available in the second round--as you predict--i think he also hits long island.

1st round pick by the Bruins is painful for the Blues!! Wilson goes one pick before them. He would have been a perfect fit for the Bluenote. I would prefer Laughton to Kerdiles if he is available.
