idk about that... we know he wants out, but howson can't just take a deal on him. nash is the face of the franchise and the franchise can't afford a rebuild with no star. if they don't get a star for him the whole club could fall under. (forbes ranked them #28 in profitability) if anything nash is going to play like crap or violate his terms in every way possible to bait a move.

That sounds like one of those great NHL 12 trades some of us' do in our basement lol. I mean, I would not be extremely opposed to that, but that would never happen , at least tomorrow it wont. But I love the way your thinking lol.
My ideal trade package is Dubinsky, Miller, Thomas, 2012 1st. With Ryan and possibly BOTH Kane's available I'd just tell Howson like it is. Something along the lines of "You're not the only show in town anymore Tex, take it or leave it. I got Anaheim on hold [/exhale cigar smoke]."

nash's agent is in a meeting with howson now, howson is having a press conference at 5, tomorrow is the draft. so with those 3 reasons people would be surprised if nash isnt gone by the end of tomorrow
