So you take a team who started off last year in dominant fashion. Add virtually an entire line of top breed prospects...and now realize this...
The Wild have a TON of money to spend and are willing to do so.
When all is said and done I see the Wild as the next LA Kings...meaning , "The next team to come out of nowhere to be a major force." We have seen it many times over the past few years...A team can go from looking terrible to looking dominant very quickly. The other thing I really like about this Wild team is there ability to play tough nosed hockey...something i once again compare to the LA Kings. It could serve the Wild very well in next year's playoffs.
Fun to read something positive. Again, tho, why'd did it have to be Eklund!?!? haha
I wonder if the people who complain about Eklund rumors never coming true or him personally get disappointed when they taste a cup of coffee at a dinner that advertises "Best Cup of Coffee in the World."
He's site is based on rumors. He has to have a lot of rumors to get people to come in the door.
Ah man Eklund likes our future? We're frakked. Seriously tho I like our future. Honestly I haven't been as encouraged by this team since 2004. But still Eklund's words mean d**k to me. He is full of more more hyberbole than Fox News.
Hahaha I don't think the Founder/CEO of Twitter makes very much. I might be wrong, but last I checked, there's barely any way to capitalize off of such a setup.
Twitter makes quite a bit of money and the company is valued relatively high. They just started doing "Promoted" tweets, and that is the only source of ad revenue that they have.
Hint; they don't make money off of ads...
This is a topic that makes my teeth grind. There are people that claim to be "social media experts" that have absolutely no clue (without googling) how Twitter makes their cash and trust me, they make their cash.
I did an interview for a more technical position for our Marketing group a few weeks ago. The guy in question (major hipster... ) literally said in the interview; "I am a social media expert!"
Me; "Oh yeah? Can you explain to me the Twitter business model and how they generate revenue? Also, as part of your answer, please elaborate on how a company can monetize their twitter presence?"
I thanked him for his time and said the interview was over.
