-We were so lucky to get Shane Prince.
Wasn't McNeil given a second interview because he gave such lame generic answers in the first that we wanted to give him another chance?

This, not only does he seem like a classy guy, but he also would have less of an adjustment to living on his own and what not

Faska is 11 on TSN's list. How do you guys know we wouldn't need to trade up to get him?

i'm going to miss the draft because i have to work from 2-9. i want to be able to go home and watch it from the beginning without having it ruined by hfboards/nhl.com, and i don't have a pvr. is there some way that i can watch the entire draft without having it ruined for me? or am i screwed?

Bust out the retro VCR set a "timer" *shudders* and pretend you live in an age with no computers or cell phones.

Looking forward to that Nash deal so we can get Lehner off the books.

Does anyone know about what time the 1st pick will be?

I think the show starts at 7, so maybe 7:15???

I've got a tight schedule tomorrow, and want to show up (gotta watch elsewhere, no cable for summer) just in time.

No I really have nothing against Lehner as a person. I think he's a very positive person and he works hard and wants to pour his heart out to Ottawa. Unfortunately I just don't think he's going to amount to much so I'd rather he get dumped in Columbus where he can blame the team for his lack of consistency. I'd rather not see him come up to Ottawa and fail.

You guys remember when it was absolutely critical that we had a good draft? LOL.

It's still critical. This year's team finished on the bottom half of the conference and have a few key components retiring soon.

Hoping for some shiny new Swedish toys this weekend. Talk to you guys on the other side.Good luck to us all!

Dear lord, it would be unreal if Grigorenko fell into our laps.

If Grigorenko falls, and we take him. I wouldn't be against extending Gonchar.

It's clear that Gonchar had a huge influence on Malkin's development, and he could be key in the developing a player like Grigorenko.

It was really cool when Malkin singled Gonchar out last night during his speech. He obviosuly thinks the world of him. SG is a class act. It goes to show how important it is to have mentors around for young players. I doubt Karlsson or Spezza would be the players they are today without Alfie.

Gonchar likes the city too, I'm sure he would take a pretty good paycut to finish up his career here.
