Can't see why the 'Yotes would want to trade him. He's locked down pretty long-term and has a very manageable cap hit for what you're getting out of him.
Would LOVE to see the Rangers make a play here...hook us up Don!

Canucks will take him, maybe the Yotes want Ballard back? Obviously we would need to add...

Yandle to the Bruins
It just makes too much sense. Bruins in need of that offensive d-man and Yandle is from the Boston area
Please let it happen

Only reason I would guess is they want NHL ready forward(s) back(ie legit top 6 guys, more so borderline top line player or better). Basic case of trading from a position of strength.
As an Islanders fan I would offer 4th pick+ but I am guessing that's not what they are looking for

Flyers fans were speculating about this earlier-- Eklund hinted at it (I know, I know) and he makes a lot of sense.
Much more sense than Nash or Ryan.

He's exactly the type of player that STL is looking for...and they've got top-9 forwards out the wazoo.

We have a lot of young defenseman who might be ready to step in, but not at Yandle level. He's one of the few guys (along with Hanzal and Doan) who have committed to Phoenix despite the ownership chaos. Even if the return was Crosby, this would hurt.
OEL HAS NOT MADE HIM REDUNDANT

The entire package the Sens are offering for Nash to get him. This is our guy, the guy who completes the trifecta with Cowen and Karlsson.
Go get him Murray!
