Ok you know what? All Jackets-related twitter accounts need to not tweet anything between now and the actual trade unless it's truly important. I'm tired of seeing a new tweet only to just have it be CBJ's twitter folk retweeting someone saying they just renewed their tickets.

Howson has lowered my expectations so much that I'm just glad he isn't trading Jack Johnson. (I hope I don't regret saying that)

....Assuming this is prereq to getting a deal done. The "pieces" are probably different for each team....

Carolina, Ottawa and NYR wouldn't give us number ones either.

Joe Pavelski is better than anything we currently have at center.

My expectations are lowered as well, but as a fan, I will be fascinated at what their plan is tomorrow night.

I think he should be realistic. Pavelski plus is a great return for Nash. Couture is just never going to happen.

A day ago, weren't you demanding Schenn, JVR, Bobrovsky, and a 1st for Nash?

Seems odd that you'd be playing the realistic card 24 hours after that.

That package minus the first. I also think Pavelski Niemi 1st is equal to that. I see them both as realistic. Couture is obviously not. If they dont want to put out the package (Philly), go to SJ. Thats ACTUALLY what I said.

Maybe something will change tomorrow, but as of tonight, my opinion is that we are all fans of a complete, second rate, Mickey Mouse organization. Hurts to say that considering I just selected my seats as a first time season ticket holder. Guess that makes me a dolt.

If you're a dolt, what does that make me - a TWELVE time STH!?!
Unfortunately, until they prove different, your post is spot on.

Maybe this should have been our theme for the coming year: We are all dolts

You can follow me. I'll just take my standard-length posts into Twitter form, so I can singlehandedly jam up your feed entirely.

Also, uncensored me is a unique experience. You'll be amazed at how someone can swear so much without it disrupting an actual stream of thought.

Will you write everything using iambic pentameter?

Only if I were intending to engage in the most intricate case of pointless trolling I've ever done.

It would look better if it were an English teacher doing it though, not someone who finds Orwell to be needlessly poetic.

Flowery language is ridiculously boring without utilizing a strategically placed ****wad or douchenozzle.

I'm watching Moneyball right now and it's the scene at the trade deadline and I find it very fitting. "Why isn't anyone calling?" That's probably what Scott Howson will be saying in his sleep tonight.

Mine are usually so clever and over-the-top that, if I posted them here, the filter would have no concept of how to handle them. I'd probably also be immediately banned, which (for when that day inevitably comes) I'd rather reserve for something worthwhile.

Just to clarify, I'm pretty sure it was Howson who said it was a good meeting.

and in my opinion, I don't see how anything outside of "Rick said he's re-commited to being a Blue Jacket and promises a 50 goal season or he'll divide his salary amongst the season ticket holders" could be a good meeting.

As I typed this I realized maybe Resnick told Howson to find a good deal for the team and Rick will go anywhere they ask.

*shrugs*

Ranger fan coming in peace... Let's say the Rangers were to include Kreider. What else would it take? Kreider, dubi, pick?
