Not saying he's on that level but he does have a shot at being close.
So i would thing he's worth quite alot especially to a team in need of a Dman of his caliber.
That guy that won the Norris has ELITE offensive potential and has a bigger upside then Yandle. One the NHL hasn't seen in a while. Yandle's offensive ability isn't elite. Its at the top but isn't at elite level. It depends on the other teams need and what they are willing to give up. The return value won't be the same when it goes from team to team.

Well , i for one hope they don't trade him . He actually wants to stay in Phoenix , for a long time . He has great chemistry with everyone in the locker room .

Also what we think he could get on the trade front is usually alot less than what he will actually get , which will be disappointing .

Pittsburgh
Winnipeg

Some names that could be dealt would be Bobby Ryan, Patrick Kane, Jordan Staal, etc. Not sure what Detroit would give up to get Yandle, but he'd be an immediate fit there.

When discussing a trade for Yandle, only one Philly player should be off the table (Giroux). The rest should be on, including Couturier.
How in God's name is Ottawa not on that list?

That's true. But I doubt Phoenix will be as dumb as Colorado was man was that a bad trade for them and a great one for the Blues.

I like it. But it will take more than Gagner to get Yandle. Perhaps a 2013 1st rd pick.

If you're including both Schenn and Read, then that's a deal Phoenix looks very closely at. Although Phoenix would love Couturier, trust me.

Get good players, develop until their prime.

Trade them.

Phoenix Coyotes recipe for success.

Yandle to Colorado makes a lot of sense. Duchene can't free agency for another 4 years. Yandle is locked up for 4 years. Both teams are trading from a position of strength.

Not sure why everybody is so pumped about the thought of him going to Ottawa. Ottawa already has Karlsson to run their powerplay. Gonchar is also still a very good powerplay option. Their is only so many power play minutes to spread around and none of Karlsson, Gonchar or Yandle see the penalty kill (well at least a very minimal amount and rightly so). Ottawa is better off upgrading their top 6 or aiming for a lesser dman cause Yandle will cost a lot of assets.

That was a good trade for both teams and a very bold trade for both teams. PHX does not have to be stupid. If the Blues want him they have the assets to spare to make it happen.

Kind of weird that PHX would want to move him. Didn't read all the thread or check cap geek. Is this an internal budget issue or something?

Who has Phoenix ever developed before Yandle/Hanzal came along? We aren't Nashville.

Do WPG really need defensive help? I thought they were trying to get better down the middle?

Gonchar is absolutely not a good PP option anymore. The guy completely lost his ability to miss the first shot-blocker this season. It was kinda embarrassing to watch really. (I'd actually argue he was better on the pk than the PP this season) We need someone to play with Karlsson on the 1st PP. We need someone to partner Karlsson on the #1 pairing.

We have tons of depth at the forward position to trade, either bottom-six roster players, or potential top-6 prospects.

I would absolutely take the guys we're offering for Nash and throw them at a Yandle trade instead.

You'd better be prepared not to draft tomorrow if you want Yandle
