It was really nice of Evgeni to dedicate his trophy to Gonchar. I hope Gonchar can do the same if we end up drafting a Russian prospect this draft.

It's weird, I want and we need a defenceman badly however Grigorenko would be the best player available in that spot

1. Zemgus
2. Grigs
3. Hampy

I think it will be Hampy

Your post just made me think. What if we draft Grigs (plus sidenote i think Grigs plays like Malkin/Yashin) and he becomes like Malkin with the help of Gonch ohhh baby.

Toronto isn't a great place for these high profile prospects to flourish (though could change with Wilson gone now). The only guy who I'll worry about them drafting is Forsberg. That guy's gonna be a real good player no matter what. Hopefully Galchenyuk goes to the Habs.

The Ryan Murray tsn feature is WAY too intense.

I'm very interested in who they pick. If the top 4 goes Yakupov/Murray/Forsberg/Galchenyuk (90% likely), and they want a forward, who do they pick? Grigorenko is unlikely, so Faksa, Girgensons, Teravainen, Gaunce?

With the Sens pretty much guaranteeing they will take a goalie at some point of the draft, I would mind seeing them use a later pick on a guy like Brandon Whitney. Good rookie goalie for Victoriaville, who is going to be handed the starting job next year.

Definite bias because he's a kid from Nova Scotia, but he has some chops. I am not as big a fan of using an early pick on netminders, preferring to find value later in the draft.

Do you know if it's possible to stream it on a phone too? Do you have to download an app or something?

I may have to head out about halfway through the draft for a family thing.

I just added 10 hours of mobile tv for free on my phone and can watch TSN/TSN2/NHL Network etc...

Even with this laggy phone it runs unbelievably smooth. I felt so cool and tomorrow I'm going to be purposely outside during the draft to watch it on my phone, hahaha :p

It's going to suck tomorrow.

I'm hosting a draft party, but we won't get to see the Sens pick when they trade it for Yandle.

Is Pierre McGuire doing the draft with TSN? He did the mock draft. Just isn't the same without him.

Yeah I think he is with Bobby Mac and Gord Miller again this year due to the fact that he was with them for the preview show tonight.

I believe he is back in. Just like trade center, he was back for that as well.

When he exploded with excitement for the Erik Karlsson pick, it was then I knew that we had drafted a Norris trophy winner.

Hopefully we'll see another burst of excitement from him at 15 again this year

Its never a bad thing when Pierre gushes about your prospects. The guy clearly has a scouts eye. He was paid to do it after all. Glad he'll be on the broadcast.

Ya, I have a lot of respect for Pierre Mcguire's opinion on prospects. I remember he was one of the first people pimping Karlsson.

Anyways, I'm hoping for Ceci or Lindholm but expecting Maatta, which I would still be very happy with.
