Why do they keep bumping the time for the Black Friday game? Used to always be at 1:00, last year it got moved to 3:00 and next season it's at 5:00? Catering to shoppers or what?

As usual, there is an AWAY game on my birthday.

My guess is National television reasons. That's why it was bumped last season.

Yeah. In Houston. Kidding. Although Koivu saw a good majority of his first year or so down in Houston due to the lockout. Didn't hurt him. No good can come from not having a NHL season next year. But having ALL the kids play one year together in Houston wouldn't kill them either. It'd be the very thin silver lining.

If he's in Houston then I get to see more of him than I would with the Wild.

Basically. But to be honest. A lockout favors our team. Gives our prospects a year to develop further. I'd hate to have one, but we'd be one of the few teams to benefit from it.

^No team benefits from the lost revenue caused by a lockout.

Exactly. I'm looking at it from a purely win and production stand point.

They must have received my threat. Hated that 1pm start.

Flame away, people.

Burns got the exception and I think that is what really got him to be the defenseman he is today.

The Black Friday start time is almost assuredly related to the fact that we play Toronto. That's a regular workday in Canada.
