Mid 1st Rounder to Montreal

Montreal is interested in a mid-first rounder to draft a plummeting Grigorenko to complement a Galchenyuk / Forsberg pick 3rd overall. We have a 2nd round pick, 33rd overall, and a 2nd round pick, 51st overall. Who would be willing to part with their pick to get these two+?

Tampa or Washington with one of their two 1st rounders? What would it take?

Please do not forget that we also have 3 2nd round picks in 2013 that we can use to trade up from our 33rd pick.

Caps will only be trading a 1st if a 2C or a top 4 LD is coming back. Trading down for more picks isn't happening. Plekanec and/or Gorges has to be on the table if the Habs want a Caps first.

A lot of people say 2012 is a weak draft, but it look like fans want to hang on to their 1st instead of getting multiple 2nd.

No team would trade a 1st rounder (especially mid-1st like the OP is asking) for a few 2nd rounders. That's just silly.

If Reilly/Dumba/Reinhart are not there at 10 I can see us looking to move that pick, I just don't know if MTL has enough to make it worth moving. 33+51+Weber/Diaz might get our 19 but not 10. If MTL is also willing to swap firsts next year if we want then I can see if happening.

4th overall??? based on what??? I love to hate Subban as much as the next guy (I'd love to have him on my team but hate to play against him) but come on. He's not even among the top 10 dmen under 24 let alone worth a 4th overall.

33+51+One of Weber/Diaz+swap pick of 1st in 2013 for 10th overall. Fair value I think. I would do it. Would you?
