Craig Custance ‏@CraigCustance

Coyotes want to give opportunity to Rundblad and Max Goncharov and need a first-line center, which makes Yandle trade very possible.

If a player slides to #20 (for example), all it means is that each time a team picked prior to #20, that they had at least one player ranked higher and they took the higher ranked player.

That said, Grigs sliding to #28 would seem to be a - wait for it - epic slide.

Must draft Galchenyuk! He's great at Call of Duty!

Tom Wilson to the Sabres, book it. They have 2 firsts and they'll want to replace the size/toughness lost in the Kassian deal.

The drop in talent will probably happen around 10 or so right?

Top 10

1. Yakupov
2. Galchenyuk
3. Forsberg
4. Murray
5. Rielly
6. Dumba
7. Teravainen
8. Grigorenko
9. Reinhart
10. Trouba

Possibles that could slide into 6-10 range

1. Lindholm
2. Faksa
3. Koekkoek

Don't think we have any chance at any of these players unless we make a major move up. I don't think we'll have any chance at Girgensons, Ceci or Collberg either.

If the Rangers were to trade a roster player like Anisimov to move up in the draft, then it tells me they feel there's better offers out there for Nash and/or Ryan.

BTW - There will come a time when we run out of prospects from the "Maloney Era" but until then, if Yandle's on the block, he needs to be explored and names like Anisimov and Dubi need to be in the mix. Of course, neither is the #1 Center Maloney is supposedly looking for.

I remember it was rumored that CBJ was looking for a goalie in the Nash trade. That would take that out of the equation. Dominos? (I love saying that)

I was hoping Galchenyuk would be the guy that could possibly slide to around 15 because he was out for the season, but everyone is still banking on him.

Been a while since I actually watched the draft. How many minutes between picks? I'm not likely going to be able to watch all the way through so I'd like to ballpark when to tune in, assuming we stay put at 28.

I would LOVE to have Yandle. We'd have to give to get but it'd be well worth it

According to a tweet from Renaud Lavoie of RDS, translated from french, “Camp Rick Nash getting impatient and puts pressure for the transaction to take place quickly.”

Columbus GM Scott Howson has said that he will wait until he gets the right deal to trade Nash.

Lavoie also tweets, “Sens are still talking to Columbus about Rick Nash. Budget question for Ottawa right now.”

Strange tradewinds blowing RT @JasonPHT: Bobrovsky? That's Howson's solution? That can't be Howson's solution. Can it?

Howson

Three draft picks for Bobrovsky, including #45? That's not how you rebuild a team my GM friend...

He better get a SICK return for Nash and save his job.
