Wow. I am ecstatic about this. Nothing against Bob, I just think he has no future here and thought his value was a lot lower.

Homer just did it to Howson again, sans lube. I would've been thrilled with Columbus's third and seventh round picks. But for their second second round pick and, according to Bob McKenzie, two fourths?!?!!?!? Wam, bam, thank you, ma'am.

They might use #45 for Hyka?

Homer did it to howie again, feels good man. I wish nothing but the best for bob but he had no future here...now who becomes the backup?

Good return.

Now I have to look at who will be available in the 2nd round....

.... just in the improbable case that it isn't flipped in another trade.

I like the trade, although I would have liked if it happened sooner so that Homer could have flipped a pick with Washington for Vokoun.

Flyers may also have had a draft-pick offer from Winnipeg for Bobrovsky, which pried extra picks from CBJ. Good return.

My money is on Seth Griffith as their target at #45.

Wow, that's a good haul Holmgren got, but I feel for Sergey. I really liked Bobrovsky and thought he had a future as a starter in Philadelphia. Hopefully he does well in Columbus. I guess this means that the Flyers will be looking for a back up in the free agent market. I also wonder if this deal means we're going to see something bigger in terms of moving the first. After all, the Flyers normally don't keep 2nd round picks.

So what are the chances we see Leighton signed as backup?

Trading Bobrovsky = Holmgren's deep knee bends before doing the heavy lifting. Multiple picks to mix and match for a bigger fish. On his seeming necessity to trade away 2nd round picks, maybe Holmgren is a chronic late riser and just doesn't want to have to set his alarm on draft weekend Saturdays?

That being said, this is a nice return for Bob, particularly after such a down season. I am very hopeful that he rises to the occasion of being the first stringer in Columbus.

NONE!

Biron or Clemmensen would make good back ups for Bryz.

You need to ask Siri to confirm and to do more.....get her to fall in line or get a Droid...

But seriously...sad to see Bob go if confirmed. I think he might come back to haunt us down the line.....hopefully not.

Would have been nice to hear him when he actually perfected his english too....

Neither, I'd like to see Homer go out and sign Hedberg.
