I love how you start with "I honestly felt bad for Leighton", then go off an R-rated cliff on him.

Haha yea. I really do kind of feel bad for him cause he shouldn't have been in that position, but every time I think about it my mind flashes back to that goal, and I get filled with rage.

Was a big supporter of Bob but understand his value to the team was better to be traded, both teams benefit from this trade.

Sad to see BOB go but getting 3 picks for him is a pretty darn good deal.

Hopefully BOB can get some more time as a starter and GTFO of Columbus.

Good for Columbus. I'd take Bob over Mason any day.

What are the chances of Subban being available at 45?

oh man if Leights gets the call, i dont know if BEEFS blood pressure could handle GDT threads..

every time the puck is in our end BEEF will be all super nervous mode..

between Bryz's leaky goals and BEEFS dislike for Leights in general, i think we'd have to have 911 on speeddial and dialed at 91 when the puck drops..

poor guy..

Very, very, very small. Maybe Dansk.

If we keep the pick, and he's on the board, what about a guy like Frk? This time, last year, he was a top-10 talent. He struggled, but has a ton of natural ability. Button had him at 55 or something.

Subban? Maybe but probably not.

A goalie as good as Subban? Likely.

A defenseman at the bottom rung of the top tier? No, unfortunately.

Just curious - how often have you seen Subban play?

Doubt he's available. However, if one of Michael Matheson or Jordan Schmaltz are there at 45, I hope Holmgren's all over that like a fat kid on a Smartie.

Can you give me info on him? I heard some about him but not enough? I don't even know what league he plays in lol. I was just wondering if you have seen him in action and tell me what you thought about him?

Bobbyclarkefan says he plays in Bellevill, so OHL.

I like Zharkov. Big guy who can skate and finish. Love that George Burnett is grooming him in Belleville. Wouldn't it be something if the Flyers ended up with Gaunce and Zharkov. Would be real nice pieces to add for the future.

Hey guys CBJ fan in piece. I have a few questions.

1. Do you think Bob is NHL starter ready?
2. Whats some strengths/weaknesses in his game?
3. He doesn't speak any english, right?

Thanks, good luck at the draft today guys.

1. Yes, with a solid back-up.
2. Consistency, but that will likely come with more consistent starts. He also needs some work on angles a bit.
3. He's gotten much better though but not exactly great yet.

Big Russian kid (6'3, 205 pounds) who scored 36 points in 50 games (23 of the points were goals). Excellent skater and not afraid to work the dirty areas. Left Russian and played in the USHL before joining the Bulls. Plays on an Olympic sized ice surface in Belleville, so you know he can really move. Needs a little work defensively, but is expected to play on one of the top two lines in Belleville this up coming year, so his numbers should really improve.

I've watched a lot of video on Zharkov and really like his game. The fact that he played on the third and fourth lines in Belleville and put up as good of numbers as he has is a testament to the talent he has. Burnett also wanted to bring him along a bit slower simply because Zharkov couldn't speak English so well and he wanted him to get used to the environment around him. If the team gives him two years in the OHL and a year in the AHL, he should be ready to play in the NHL. Upside is a second line winger with 30 to 35 goal capability. The "downside" is that Zharkov is a 3rd line winger with 15 to 20 goal capability.
