Curious, what would you offer for Ballard?

I think any team that takes him is going to get a steal. He just doesn't have the trust of the Canucks' coaches for whatever reason, and he's got a lot more to give.

I'd be willing to do a 3rd rounder. That or a 5th and a fringe prospect of ours; Rheksani, DiBenedetto. Hell even PA's rights + 5th if you want.

Can I interest you in an up and coming prospect named Mike Komisarek? He's being compared to the next Lidstrom. Blazing speed, world class shot, and has one of the highest hockey IQ's of any Leaf.

Quite a steep drop from what Vancouver gave up for him. He hasn't been very good in Vancouver but he's not even 30 yet and has had some really good seasons. I think that would be an absolute steal for the Islanders.

I'm the minority who believe that one day Komisarek will (unfortunately) make his way to the Island again considering his NHL salary is less than his actual cap hit. AKA the Garth Snow special.
