The original post only included one dump (Armstrong), a Stars fan then asked if Franson could be upgraded to Schenn and the price they deemed fair was to add another salary dump. Which would make two salary dumps. (Armstrong and Lombardi)
Could a deal be worked around something like this: Cap hits are a wash pretty much.

God knows I'm no Bozak fangirl but good lord in what way is he a salary dump? Same with Schenn. That's crazy talk.
If Dallas has to eat Armstrong and Lombardi's money so be it but good lord is that a plus deal for Dallas. They get a younger center who may be a 2nd line guy but at worst is a legit 3rd line center option. They get Schenn who's more than decent on the back end which does fill a hole on our roster. They get the 5th overall for the 13th plus two middling bottom six players for two guys obviously on the outs in Dallas. What's not to like about this deal?

Change the 32-year-old Ribiero to Benn and sure thing. Otherwise, this is an awful deal for Toronto.
Why does Joe hate Ribeiro so much? He tries to get rid of him every chance he has. Ribs is his best centreman and he's pretty damn good.
