No chance in hell I make that trade.

2 1st round picks plus one of the best two way centres in hockey? Not a chance.

No trade for the Habs for their 1st round pick.
I think we all expected that.

I don't have cable and I live in the USA, anyone know where I can get a stream? If not, what forum would likely have knowledge of where a stream would be?

If Edmonton doesn't take Yakupov and MTL gets #2 from Columbus --- is it Yakupov and Galchenyuk or Yakupov and Teravainen?

I'm almost feeling bad for Oilers fans. Their board's heading for a collective implosion if they pick Murray (or Reinhart?) at number 1. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Getting Columbus number 2, negotiations would start at Subban imo, or include Pacioretty. I don't think we could put together a realistic package centered around an unproved defenseman(Tinordi/Beaulieu), and none of our forward prospects are worth anything in a trade.

An eastern scout from a team said to J-F Chaumont that the Habs are making a mistake if they choose TT at #3. Said it's too soon. I wasn't able to know who the scout was but from J-F, seems that it's an effective scout. I tried with Simon Nolet but seems it's not him....

In my opinion it's Galchenyuk and Yakupov, they play well together, and they're both impact players right now. But I wouldn't mind Yak + Forsberg / Teravainen

Yakupov and Galchenyuk according to Pierre , would be like having Sedin twin on your team as far as big time chemistry...

And I completely agree with that. TT at 3 would be a mistake, IMO.

Too early.

Both TSN and Sportsnet are praising Terevainen as a big riser and said he has the best hands in the draft.

Teravainen is starting to sound like he has a lot of the qualities of Jean Beliveau, not the size but the calm and talent the ability to make great passes. This young man may be our choice and the next great leader of the Habs future.

Seriously, if I was a Edmonton fan -- I'd WANT Ryan Murray. That guy is an absolute stud and will be a top pairing defenseman for his entire NHL career. He's that good.

Is he BPA? It's very close. I'm just hoping since it's so close that we address our needs up front rather than on the blueline.

At the end of the day, I'd be disappointed in drafting Murray because of the fact that our forward depth is extremely weak. But, at the same time, I'd be pumped because Ryan Murray is going to ****ing awesome.

All I want is for at least one d-man drafted 1st or 2nd. That guarantees Habs Yakupov or Gally.
