An eastern scout from a team said to J-F Chaumont that the Habs are making a mistake if they choose TT at #3. Said it's too soon. I wasn't able to know who the scout was but from J-F, seems that it's an effective scout. I tried with Simon Nolet but seems it's not him....
Just like people on this board have been saying.. The Habs can't possibly screw this pick up can they?
Okay other scenarios...we REALLY want to draft for needs. And since we seem to think that we are not going to make any trade and pick at #3, Habs go for....Faksa or Girgensons. Size and skilled big centerman. What would be the reaction here?

that what i said today.
If Habs we picking 8-12 th for example,i pick him possibly, but at 3rd your vaporizing any value you got in the 3rd pick .
Seriously, if I was a Edmonton fan -- I'd WANT Ryan Murray. That guy is an absolute stud and will be a top pairing defenseman for his entire NHL career. He's that good.
Is he BPA? It's very close. I'm just hoping since it's so close that we address our needs up front rather than on the blueline.
At the end of the day, I'd be disappointed in drafting Murray because of the fact that our forward depth is extremely weak. But, at the same time, I'd be pumped because Ryan Murray is going to ****ing awesome.
It's hard to pick a stud D over a star forward, but in Edmonton's case it makes 100% sense.

I'd be pretty mad considering you could easily trade down and pick up at least one of those guys, or Grigorenko anywhere from 9-15.

Faksa's story got me sappy, so I would probably welcome him with open arms.
I'm almost feeling bad for Oilers fans. Their board's heading for a collective implosion if they pick Murray (or Reinhart?) at number 1. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
I wouldn't feel that bad if i was an Oilers fan (well im sort of one since they are my western team). They are already loaded with young guns with huge upsides upfront and Murray would tremendously help their blue line and that perhaps as soon as next year.
It would fill a huge gap in their system. Reinhart on the other hand is another story.
