I just wonder if the Habs will pick again tonight .....What would say moving up to 24 from 33 cost?

It might just be that teams wrote off getting a forward from this draft and did far more defensive research, especially at this point. Also suspicious that only one team so far has drafted a European based player. Because nobody is avoiding Teravainen for his upside.

I've never been a fan. He hasn't had a season with a PPG production since he was like 18. well maybe that one partial season where he was injured.

He just doesn't have points in him. As pleks gets older, he has all the defensive side we need.

Eller has shown glimpses of potential but he's never even produced massively at lower levels or any level.

I wouldn't move up for Forsberg, unless the price wasn't that much. Teravainen, sure.

Cody Ceci is a guy I'm really high on (I had him at 6th on my list), so I would move up to get him in a heartbeat.

I was always a little worried about Forsbergs offensive potential, but that was only based on stats, never really had a chance to see him play much. I'd love any of Girgs, Forsberg, TT, Ceci at this point though.

Why watch NHL Network when you can actually watch RDS Info with Gaston Therrien wondering why we didn't pick Jonathan Brunelle in the 2nd....

How about a trade with Washington for their two 1st's,This would be a truly great draft if they get those picks right now.Forsberg and Wilson to play with Galchenyuk, what a line that would be.

As much as I'd like to see us trade up (and I'd REALLY do), you have to think that the others GM are salivating at the players sliding down just as much as we are and they won't make their pick cheaper to get because it's a 12th one if there's a guy they ranked top 5 still available for the picking...

Well the gap is surely not big enough. Honestly, the 2 2nds are too much though you never know how much our guys love somebody.

That makes 2 of us, I took a lot of abuse for calling out Eller all year. I guess we have a small group.

But thats the thing about Forsberg, every time we saw him play at the World Juniors or Under 18's, he was never THAT impressive. I mean the World Juniors I understand, but at the under 18's he should have dominated more than he did..
