Stoll can frustrate us like no other but glad to see this. Takes a cut and his face off ability is a big part of the team. Welcome back Stolly!

Solid deal for both.I'm sure Lombardi saw his importance in the playoffs and Stoll didnt want to move out of that sweet pad he just built over money.

Kings confirmed Jarret Stoll deal in principle.3 yrs. Fraser close to being done earlier today. Team supposed to meet w/ Penner next week.

If Penner comes back, this would be new ground for us if Bernier didn't leave...nobody leaving and nobody coming in.

Fair value for Stoll but he probably took a hometown discount. He would have gotten $1-$1.5 more in UFA market by some desperate team

Easily would have been $4+ on the open market.

Winning definitely helps.

Look at all the teams without a good #2 C. Look at teams who usually overpay players and shoehorn them into spots which are beyond their ability. If Dean wasn't set on signing him, he would have went somewhere for quite a bit more than this.

Hammond said that the cap hit is 3.25m. Still alright.

Probably mixed up the numbers.

Pierre was correct. It's 3.25 per year.

Still a pay cut. And still a good move for the Kings to keep the Cup winning team intact.

I'm not expecting him to be a 20-goal scorer again, but no more atrocious regular season, please. I want 15 goals out of him per year.
