So we r going to drop 5 spots to 6th? It's not like pitt nj or Boston didn't put up pts last year. We won the east bc wr are a good team. Yes we need more scoring tell me how to go about getting it right now? Trade our D or kreider? Give in to howson?

Crazy overreaction Carolina gets staal who didn't even make the playoffs. Pitts loses staal and a lot to their offense and we need to do this that or fire Sather now!@

Absolutely, positively correct. The fans around here value our homegrown players almost as if they're rare collectible coins and never to be parted with.
The Pens just turned Jordan Staal, who is better than anyone on our roster, into Brandon Sutter(who will be a 30+ goal scorer), the 8th pick and Doumellan!
It's not rocket science for God sakes, it's hockey!

First of all, it doesn't take much to drop 4 or 5 spots to a 6th seed.
Second of all, I'm not advocating caving in to a g.m. who's trying to save his ass/job with one lopsided trade.
What I am saying is do something within reason before free agency to appease a tired old Ranger's fan of 50 years like me so I can go to sleep knowing that "Hey, he's trying!"

Right now, I'm just very frustrated with the team I hate most(Pens) making the big splash!
Nothing personal mind you.

Not by much because Sutter will put up 30+ goals playing there, bank on it! They will miss Staal's all around game though.

I'm just responding to your statement that he'd be the best player on our roster, which is obviously false.
