Now there goes 1 player I thought might be there for the Ranger's--I can't stand the Caps and now I dis-like them even more.

I wanted Wilson, but at least Philly doesn't get him, either.

I agree with Pierre. Wilson is one big hombre.

Great job addressing your Defensive needs, Washington. Wilson's a pain in the ass to play against, but I didn't even think taking him at 28 would be a good idea, let alone at 16.

What's the knock on TT? Worth trading up for? I've never seen him play.

It would actually make sense to draft a young goalie who has time to develop when our future HOFer starts to think about retirement. It takes well over 5-10 years to develop a great goaltender.

A great example is Tuukka Rask.

These analysts don't watch many games, if any. They lock themselves in a room for a week prior to the draft and research.

I didn't say the analysts have to be American. Just the network who covers it.

He's very undersized. That's the only real thing

Lots of talent, not a lot of size.

I'm glad we didn't get a chance to take Wilson. I'm tired of hearing about the next Lucic at this point, year after year we hear that yet there's only 1 Lucic in the NHL.

Things Ive seen have him between 5'9" and 5'11" and 165 - 185.

If he's the latter on those, he's Bure size, the former and its MSL of course...

I dont know much about him other than that.

Disagree.

1) We are in a good position to select a goalie. At 28, we'll probably get the 1st goalie off the board, which may be a better value than the 15 forward or dman.

2) Hank may get hurt at some point. He may leave in free agency.

3) If we pick a goalie, there is no guarantee he'll make it. Waiting to take one and then expecting him to become a #1 is not a good strategy. I'd rather have two #1 goalies than none.

Bonus) Taking the goalie the devils want

Seems there's only one requirement to be the next Lucic and that's being 6'4". People need to understand that it's so much more than that.

Thanks for the answers. Interesting player. Doesn't sound like a guy Gordie or Gorton would target but you can't deny talent.

He may also be the best player available, which seems to be the strategy drafting wise.

I still think Philly is going to take a run at him.

I like how teams are just announcing picks and not being knob slobbers shouting out beer league teams in Zimbabwe.
