Me neither.

But I can name plenty of other sites. Wild.com, capgeek.com, eliteprospects.com, hockeydb.com, hockeyreference.com

Can't remember visiting any others the last month.

Again, what's the basis for your comparison?
Belle had/has a bigger frame but Dumba's built very well himself, and I doubt he'll have problems bulking up a little, work ethic carries to the weight room for Dumba.

Belle was a pretty good skater at least in his earlier days. He had all the tools but no toolbox, something I've seen mentioned with Dumba. When he was in our system we even tried moving him to forward, while Dumba also saw some time at forward as a 16-year old in the WHL. The comparison is the physical talent which Belle possessed I feel Dumba's got similar, as did PK Subban.

Dumba's a tantalizing talent, and it was only going to take one team to like him much like Ryan Murphy last year.

Me too. June/July is definitely my most hockey intensive internet hockey surfing months. Gotta get it now, cuz August is soooooo loooong and non-eventful

Hopefully we can give Dumba a year in Houston and see him make an impact in 2013. If he can do it sooner. Awesome sauce.

He is buddies with Wild goalie Darcy Kuemper, his former Red Deer teammate, who told Dumba before the draft that the Wild treats their players right.
Anyone laugh at that? Only because Kuemper tried to screw over Minnesota by holding out and then realizing he would go back to the draft instead of FA?

Wouldn't be eligible to play in Houston until 2013-2014.

Any Pittsburgh natives the Flyers can draft with their picks? That would be hi-larious.

Yep you're right. Not thinking before posting. Reason? Look at my avatar.

Kind of feel bad for Laughton. Just realized a lifelong dream and is getting booed cuz he got picked by the hated Flyer. C'mon Pittsburgh at least cut the kid some slack. Hate the team, but not Scott(yet)

Can't go to Houston. No need to stay in Juniors... Recipe for success?

It's a horrible misrepresentation of what happened. Kuemper had the option of not signing and just being eligible for the 2011 draft (where he presumably would have gone higher). He chose to sign with us, despite having a chance to pressure us.

The good news is that he's already played three years of juniors. So there are more options for Dumba a year down the line - and remember, he doesn't turn 18 until July.

I was trying to make a play at Sheppard and Gillies.

The big thing around Kuemper was that he was a 6th round pick and wanted money closer to a 1st or 2nd. Can't remember what it ended up being but the two sides compromised.

Does the fact that Belle and Subban are also black have anything to do with your comparison with Dumba?.
