I'm laughing, but I don't feel that bad. He was listed #24 overall via Button.

If this means that Schenn gets us Ryan, I'm all for it.

To early to hate on the pick, we draft better forwards than anything else in the first round anyways. Schenn to wing down the road?

Unless we're moving one of our Centers.......but it's in line with their philosophy of never having too much depth at Center.

Could this mean schenn is being traded? When Pierre was describing our center position he said "giroux, couturier will replace briere, and Laughton will take over the 3rd line center position" maybe he knows something we dont? Haha

Now I wouldn't mind trading Schenn. Between Giroux, Briere, Couturier, Laughton, and a myriad of competent 4th line centers is there really any reason to keep him now if a good offer comes along?

I'm beyond pissed right now. Yeah, let's take another ****ing center. Also, let's take him way higher than he's projected and pass over a top dman which is what we need! Nice!

Yeah, I guess.

On the other hand, they had one of the safer defenseman sitting there, and passed on him for a forward.

That annoys me.

I wonder if this means they see Schenn as a winger?

That's fine. But sooner or later then need to start developing defensemen through the system. Flyers never develop them. The last good one we had was Pitkanen and we traded him away.
