I would hope so that seems like the logical thing to do considering the talent of the draft and we are never even really high enough to get top 3 talent from the offensive side. Considering our recent draft success I think for this year go hard or go home would be the smart thing to do. I guess it all depends on the talent of the draft and your positioning.

I personally would have loved to see the 1st rounder as a piece in a deal for a Ryan or some other elite goal scoring gamebreaker. Iwould assume that is the consensus.

Canceled NHLN a few weeks ago since there were no more games going on. Anyone have a stream?

Well they got the 8th pick that they turned into Puliot, Brian Dumoulin (who i know nothing about) and Sutter who kind of replaces Staal for a player who was going to jump ship after this season. Basically they did a nice job maximizing Jordan's value.

Then they got TSN's 10th rated player at 22 with their own pick.

Not a bad first round.

I agree. Funny, I had Pouliot and Maata at 22 and 23.

It's NBC not the league, they have the draft listed as going until 10:30, but they cut it anyway.

Very happy that we'll have the chance to take Collberg/Aberg/DiGiuseppe/Thrower. I'd be disappointed if we take Matteau/Gaunce with the pick, but content.

Well they want to why the NHL is a 3rd-class citizen in the sports world, here's why.

One draft. Four hours. Three ****ing Networks.

Joke league. Sad Joke.

The league needs to stop getting dicked around by their networks. ESPN practically blows the NFL and NBA.
