Same. His penchant for taking minor penalties is his biggest flaw. Hopefully 2012 playoff Stoll shows up the next three years and not the regular season version

Less than 3.5M per year?

Sounds like Stoll took a huge discount, especially considering how much he could've gotten in a very weak FA pool.

This is great. Lotki is too small imo and stoll on the 3rd line is awesome.

Sorry you don't agree but you are way to harsh on a guy who just played awesome when it mattered.

Now that he's signed, they can trade him to Carolina right?

Aren't they collecting Stalls?

He left money on the table to stay in L.A. It was pretty much common knowledge that he loves the area and wanted to stay

I'll never deny that Stoll was good in the postseason but just like I've been saying with Penner, you can't just measure a 20 game sample. He was terrible all year until the playoffs. He took too many just AWFUL penalties. I'm fine with the price, I'm fine with re-signing him, but NOT for 3 years. That's why I overreated. I really did not want him on anything more than a 1 year deal.

I don't blame him.

I'd rather stay on a contender.

Kings confirmed Jarret Stoll deal in principle.3 yrs. Fraser close to being done earlier today. Team supposed to meet w/ Penner next week.

So Fras will be done soon. Hopefully they don't give Penner 3 yrs. 1 year will be fine.

EDIT: Whoops. I didn't notice the sticky "confirmed with link" post. Mods can obviously lock this thread now.

he was most certainly NOT terrible all year. Stoll has been nothing but balls since he's been in Los Angeles.

he had fewer penalty minutes than Richards, Clifford and Fraser, and a what, a handful more than Dustin Brown?
