Seriously man Forsberg is a beast, the thought of him in our offense sounds enticing to say the least. If Wilson is a project like Holtby was who can come through when you really need him then why not.

Hadn't seen the Pens specifically tied to Yandle, but wouldn't surprise me (see Chris Johnston's tweets now.) Had heard the Martin rumors, but I haven't heard Michalek's name mentioned before now. Sounds like a lot of maybe, no, maybe, hold on twitter.

Well, they couldn't stop a damn thing the Flyers threw at them. If Michalek was a LD, I'd help out, but we're not trading with them regardless. I don't know how they're going to get rid of Martin. He's done.

Interesting. Clearing salary, they must be preparing some monster offers for Parise/Suter. Strange for PHX as well, thought they wanted to shed a Dman not add one.
Still question the Wilson pick. It is so hard to project these physical type of players at this age. Hopefully he continues his strong play from the playoffs.
Sorry, but Staal to Sutter is a downgrade. Sutter doesn't give them the flexibility that Staal did. That is the part I think is going to bite them in the ass. Interesting to see what Pittsburgh is going to do with the defense. They added a bunch of depth to a pool that was already fairly deep. It does give them some wiggle room to snatch up one of the big ticket UFA though.
*Edit*: Michalek gone, interesting. I thought Martain would be the prime jettison target.

Yeah, but the Yotes were already dealing with a logjam even before this move. I think both Gormley and Goncharov are NHL ready. Not that you dump good NHLers to make room for prospects, but between that and the ever-present budget concerns...
LW, although I feel like I remember him being tried there earlier in his career.
Ah, that makes a little more sense now. I'm really curious about Pens' forward depth now. I don't remember a whole lot if any decent prospects at forward playing in WBS.
