It depends. Sometimes forwards can break in early - Skinner, O'Reilly, Landeskog etc. Dman rarely break in early and usually mature their game much later on average

Could be definitely see Maidens or Kosmachuk.

But My guess is Aberg

There's a lot of good one's available still, And I wouldn't be too disappointed with any of them.

So jealous of Buffalo's first round. Grigorenko AND Girgensons?

Think Washington comes away big winners after the 1st round.

Yea i agree washington and buffalo made out the best so far i think.

Washington getting forsberg and tom wilson is huge for them.

Griegs and GERGS for buffalo is solid down the middle.

I'm happy with Reilly at #5 .. i think he'll be a stud! Can't wait to see him play at the world juniors this xmas and dominate! we'll see excited to have the top Dman in the tournament as a leaf prospect We'll also get to see biggs perform and potentially Purcy! gonna be a good season! With a few more things to happen this off season yet!

you know what guys? im not a religious man at all, but at this point, being a fan of this team, what could it hurt? I'm really finding it hard to "beleaf" at this point.

burke has been a dichotomy of sorts. He's made some great trades, some bad trades, but by and large he hasn't done a great job on the free agent front. aside from the 'free wallets' which at least bozak will probably stick around from. what happened to gus anyway? i havent been paying attention for a month or so.

I need a concrete move this summer. something to prove to me this IS going in the right direction, or else i have little hope for the next season.

Also Pitts doing some impressive overhauling - so far
1. Traded a 7th for Vokoun as a veteran backup
2. Replace Staal with capable 3C and prospects/picks
3. Free Capspace (Michalek) to pursue Suter/Parise?

Burke still looking for his goalie and center.
And has not unloaded marginal players or freed capspace to pursue UFA

Really hope we're able to get Matt Finn. I think he's gonna be a real solid and reliable 2 way #3-4 D man, think the Oilers are going to take him though.

Would also be happy with Kerdiles, Thrower or Dansk.

OT- A couple people mentioned Cody Ceci's sister was pretty hot in an earlier thread. Apparently, Chelsea Ceci is an actress and was on the show Blue Mountain State.

I really really really want us to draft Nicolas Kerdiles or Oscar Dansk! Both would be GREAT picks.

If we can come away from this draft with Rielly and Collberg as our first two picks that would be incredible. Two guys with high end skill and potential to be home runs.

Why would you be excited with #2/3 centers? Seems rather underwhelming.

Just what we need, another defenseman to see these boards probably explode in fury.

Man I'd love to see it happen.

I agree with the the poster that said Collberg at #35 would be fantastic. Even a guy like Frk would be a high risk/high reward pick that would be interesting. I think we'll go with the safer pick like Kerdiles, Kosmachuk, Maidens type pick though.

Maidens would not be a safe pick at all, BTW... Huge high risk/high reward pick. As many are saying I don't think we can wrong at 35... So many names still available(Collberg, Aberg, Maidens, Kerdiles, Thrower, Finn, Frk)

Cheers.
