I think it makes more sense to look at where the team plans to position what we currently have.

Will probably pretend Streit is a number 1... for yet another season...
Do they feel Hamonic can handle a #2 spot?
Visnovsky and AMac at 3&4
???* and Donovan/ De Haan forced to step in too soon

*Another trade for a NHL 3rd pair dman, or Garth signs a below average UFA Dman in hopes that he can become his diamond in the rough....which he seems to look for every season.

As for Streit, I agree, unless they decide they can move him during this season to try and get something for him. Not sure what his level of dedication to this team is, I don't think many players have much dedication to a franchise that doesn't seem to want to do the things to win.

I like Streit, and what sucks is that if we trade him we probably won't get anything decent in return to help now or in the future.

I wish one day Snow would surprise everyone and do something crazy. I just know that won't ever happen.
