Calling it now, JJ is going to pot 25 goals and add another 20 assists playing with Nielsen and Grabner just to troll all the haters on this board

I have no problem with the Jesse Joensuu signing and think he might even be able to help the Islanders on our 4th line.(He has some skill and size but is a slow skater) Still going to need at least 1-2 proven NHL scorers(Center and Wing) added to our line-up from the UFA market or a trade.

Good ole JJ coming back. Big like bear, but hits like a pillow.

Not last season. He was the toughest guy on the team. I'm not saying Swedish teams are particularly tough, but still.

He was hitting, and hitting hard. Hopefully he will keep that up with the Isles.

Nice, but do they even hit back in the SEL?

What I remember of JJ is he would get right in front of the net( dirty area) and he had good hands,
It was as I remember that he was too slow for the game.Almost like Brett Lindros was too slow for the game.Brett tried hard it seemed,he fought and checked but he just was a step behind the game.
Hopefully JJ will surprise us with a little more maturity and hopefully a lot more speed.
