Hopefully the skating improves a bit as he gets into better shape.

My personal pick, Kosmachuk, still on the board heading into the 3rd so maybe they get him too.
Just went to WSH

If Frk can stay healthy and continue to gain athleticism he could prove to be a goal-scorer. Was a top-15 pick before the concussion. Very, very heavy shot and loves to score. Gets by defenders easily. Favorite player is Dats. Great pick!

I wouldn't call him big if he's 6'0". He's 204 lbs though which may be good or could be the reason why he's not a good skater. He has concussion problems so that's a bit of a concern and his motor is questionable. The positives are he has a good shot and his overall skill level is good.

At a bare minimum he seems like he'd be a good shootout guy. He's playing in NA which is a plus as he's getting acclimated to the speed of the game. Hopefully one concussion is enough for him to learn the hard way. He had a good playoff run which bodes well. His offensive IQ is viewed as being his biggest strength.

He won't play in Detroit anytime soon, but the Hockey Writers say he has the potential to be a second line forward, so not bad at all with a pick in the second round.

That's about as close as you'll get, but it's really pronounced Frk...A short roll in the 'r' and no vowel in between

At least they waited until the 3rd to waste a pick on a goalie...

Jake Paterson? I dont know too much about this goalie so I'm not going to judge him. I'd rather have taken someone else though.

A cursory google search leads me to believe that they could have gotten Paterson at least two rounds later. There's almost no scouting or ranking information on the guy.

I hate this pick. Not only do they take a goalie in the 3rd, which shouldn't happen, they take an OHL goalie, which shouldn't happen, and they reach badly for him to boot.

And Frk wears 91 for Fedorov. That'll be interesting if he makes it. See if he has the chutzpah to wear that sweater in Detroit (if they even give it to him).

Zharkov must have some kind of "don't draft me" smell on him. This usually happens for a reason.

Ranked #97 by thehockeywriters. Doesn't seem like too far of a reach. We'll see.
